Hey. Hope the holidays are being nice to you. As we look back to the year we have had let's talk DROIDCON KE Day 2
DAY 2
If you haven't already checked out my previous article on DroidconKe 2022 Day 1. Day 2 was ahead on a technical issue as one of our rooms was occupied by a different company Remarkably this brought more convenience than problems to add on the great weather The attendees did not look forward to walking long distances between sessions in the events so when we brought all the sessions in one building it was so much easier and more convenient to move around. Because Day 1 kinda sucked every organiser and volunteer was on their A-game in hope to fix things. Day 1 was community day and was a mixture and myriad of all topics outside Android. Day 2 brought a whole new vibe on a whole new level with pure Android and focused talks so whatever the topic was about the speaker dug deep into it and I personally picked and gained so much.
Unfortunately this was the first time I realized that what we do as Droidcon and the community in general, is actually amazing because people come and learn alot. It's beautiful. Getting to learn from your peers, role models even colleagues. You can even get a chance to teach
DAY 3
The last day was here with us. It will always be an honour to actually create spaces for professionals to share, to learn and to interact with their kind. I think that the best thing about programming about being a developer might be the community we get. We can share our 'silly' projects and ideas.
You're not the only one who's trying to figure out your next career move. You're working from home but not alone.
On behalf of all devs, I give great thanks to all the companies that ensure the community is kept alive, shout out to you for being pro community. Reminding developers everyday that they make impact to the entire ecosystem.
I believe that this and many more events are changing the world so thank you so much for reading this article and this way being part of something bigger than you, the community.
